The Future Works event has been created collectively by a rolling group of locally-based artists and creative practitioners.

We’re adding to this website as time allows, but it felt important to get something out there asap.

If you’d like to be kept up to date, the best way probably remains joining the F13 emailing list, but you can also send a message via this form.

This demographic data raises questions for us about local sector diversity specifically within leadership and decision-making roles; but we also have to wonder whether this data backs up anecdotal evidence that the local freelance creative workforce is significantly less diverse in the wake of the pandemic (and reversing the gains of the City of Culture investment), given how much more precarious it is now to pursue a career in the arts even compared to five years ago.
